Annual Conference

It's the first time the Education Credit Union Council has met in Savannah, often called "America's Loveliest City," but we already feel at home. There's something relaxed and gracious about the city, and plenty to do. Antebellum mansions? Got that. Delightful, well-designed public squares? They're yours to enjoy. Galleries, boutiques and restaurants, of course. You can look forward to easing back and enjoying a drink or snack as you listen to horse-drawn carriages clip-clop down a cobblestone street. The prime location of our hotel will make it easy and convenient to get around. Yes, it may be our first visit, but could be it won't be our last. Come join us and see what you think.
Building on our Strengths...Designing our Future
A member-focused approach. Skilled management that has brought credit unions through the recession in far better shape than many other financial institutions. An unrivaled willingness to share ideas and help others in the movement. Those are just some of the strengths credit unions can boast.
There's rarely been a better time to look ahead, build on those strengths and decide what kind of a future you want for your credit union and how you can achieve those goals. As always, our speakers will offer not only inspiration, but practical guidance you can put to work as soon as you return home and unpack your suitcase.
Not just for "education" credit unions
In addition to those credit unions serving educational communities, any credit union that has member education as a central tenet of its mission is welcome and is encouraged to attend ECUC's annual conference. Don.t hesitate to sign up, whatever your field of membership.
Attention golfers.and Non-golfers, too
When legendary golf architect Rees Jones decided to work his magic in the Georgia woodlands, the result was Southbridge Golf Club. Long been the most acclaimed golf course in Savannah, Southbridge's large undulating greens are protected by grass mounding and finely sculptured bunkers, providing a fair test and entertaining round for players of all skill levels.
Those not participating in our Golf Event will have fun taking part in Savannah city and area tours.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
You and all CEOs, directors, committee members and top management active in the operations of any credit union that wants to achieve professional excellence. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to interact with your peers from across the U.S., introduce executive staff and managers to credit union ideas and philosophy on a national level, and discuss issues important to your credit union in the coming year.
